First, I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond, both here and in private e-mails, to the Brad stories. The comments were overwhelmingly positive. He and I are both so grateful for all the friends we have made since we started coming to Las Vegas over 27 years ago, so many of them as a direct result of the frugal writings. That is the best “pay” of all!
To answer the question about the star who held up Brad’s homecoming – he does not remember her name. She was not famous, or at least Brad had never heard of her.
And to answer another question – no, this is not the end of the Brad stories. I have a couple more in the incubator to cover the time until the Brad story becomes the Jean and Brad story. And just maybe – I said maybe – one of these days there will be a book telling the Brad story and the Jean story and then the Jean and Brad story. We’ll just have to see.
Jean, I hope you write more stories. I remember talking about the Wynn casino to a cab driver and he said-If you built it, they will come. Well Jean- If you write it,I will buy.
Now….that is a cliffhanger!! Put them in book form and you will have a best sellers.
Thanks for giving us the story of Brad’s life. I’ve been enormously entertained so far and am looking forward to more. I don’t read biographies as a rule (even short ones), but you’ve made Brad’s life so interesting that I haven’t been able to resist. I can hardly wait until we get into your combined life in Las Vegas.
I can’t wait for the Jean story!!
