Charles, whoever gave you that story was misinformed. After presenting that coupon to the slot club I put $100 into a VP machine and when it was gone, which included wins as well as the $100 loss, I went back to the slot club and received my $100 free play. It always pays to double check everything.

I was in Las Vegas Oct 5-9th. I tried to use the las vegas advisors $100 free pay coupon at Terribles the player card person told me that if a won anything even a nickle i would be instantly disqualified. I asked if a lost $95 but won i nickle, she interrupted and said you get nothing! To make matters worse i couldn’t print the coupon at home so i walked from the Rio to the advisor and took the bus to Terribles dropped the slot card on the floor and took the bus back to the strip.

I’ve received the gas discount at Rebel. Jean is correct. You slide your B-connected card in the credit/debit card slot first, wait for it to accept, then when it prompts you, slide the credit or debit card and proceed as normal. I think it works the same if you pay cash too.

We’ve stayed here many times mostly due to the nice rooms and reasonable rates. Naturally, we have gambled many late nights here as our last casino stop before turning in…sounds like we need to change our game plan for next month’s visit. Thanks for the heads up, Jean!

My brother and i are comming to Vegas in nov we were going to gamble at the Southpoint,but not anymore just when you think a casino is player friendly the bean counters take over.

Thanks for the info Jean,I was unaware of the changes at South Point as my October mailer was like the usual $30 free play per week for the 20000 points that I played in August on NSU and JOB.

I don’t know exactly how the Rebel gas promo works. I think you can put your B Connected card in the same slot as you would a credit card. Maybe someone who does this the first time will post the details here in the comments.

I wouldn’t go to SOUTHPOINT for VP. Their ad that they have LOOSE Slots is BS! I would say from my perspective they have the TIGHTEST slots around. Do not go there !!!!
