How do I calculate what I need to spend more on etc etc for my comps as Caesars? I am able to see via MLife where I went wrong on my last short trip to Vegas.

I guess there are some things I don't get, being unfamiliar with the system. I am reading the tier credit benefits chart and the first thing I see is "free or discounted hotel stays." Well, which is it? How is the "free-ness" of rooms determined? That seems the gazillion dollar question.

Looking at it, as a sports bettor, I think I could whack Diamond in a Day without much difficulty, but what is the upside? If the flight to Dubai were included, maybe, but it's not. I suppose no resort fees could add up. Am I missing something?

A sports bettor has an advantage in that the lousy slot or video poker odds vis-a-vis other programs does not come into play. The odds at a CZR location will be similar to odds in other sports books, so you're not getting whacked with a 2% or 3% tariff for lousy vp.

Anyway, could someone explain the "free-ness" of the rooms? And my contribution is to suggest sports betting as a possible angle to Diamond in a Day. I must say, the free monthly sports wagers you get as a Diamond benefit are pitiful. Maybe don't offer them at all if they're going to be that tight with them.

I was a 7-Stars, now a Diamond Elite. CZR Casinos are quiet, and there are very few of the slot people that make the payouts. Why, there are so few payouts of $1200 and over that they walk around making sure there is TITO tickets in the machines. Ask them, that is what they tell you and me. Tips are at an all time low, no winners, no tip. Comps are getting worthless. You cannot run up tier points, as you lose your money to quickly. Not even small payouts. Just money in, nothing out. VP is terrible. I was there last in March, and from what I have heard, it has gotten worse since then. There are some casinos near Temecula in CA, not Pachenga or Rincon, both of which are also terrible. There are 3 others that compete with them, and you have a better chance. You could have a presidential suite and pay for it at CZR, much less costly than the amount you have play to get it comped. And as long as there are people that come in an play, it will only get worse.

I fail to understand why people jump thru hoops to acquire the ever changing pathetic CZR "benefits" that are somehow supposed to compensate for players misguided "loyalty" and losses they incur while staying/gambling at any/all the CZR properties. Apparently some people have more money than common sense. I personally have not set foot into and gambled at a now owned CZR property for over 25 years and will never do either in the future. I find it hard to believe that people are really that ignorant to patronize these thieving rip off casinos.

Yes, the only way to stay ahead of casinos' reduction of benefits is by ramping up research, something you have been preaching for decades.
I live only 80 miles from Las Vegas, therefore unable to use the $600 airfare allowance for Diamond Elite players. So, during a recent stay at Bally's casino I asked, something you have also preached for years. and was able to receive $600 in free play.
Keep enjoying "retirement" but don't stop writing.
Best to Brad.

Speaking with other Diamond and Seven Stars players they all say the tier credits are no longer worth playing for higher levels. The benefits are no longer worth the cost of playing for them.
