I hope you had a great time in Tahoe, I am sorry to have missed you when we were able to get great airfare prices to Las Vegas and came in the night before you left.
We stayed downtown for the first night and oh my it was a crazy cowboy pre celebration.
We stayed the rest of the time at the Orleans, and we had a very relaxing time, eating, playing live poker, shopping and video poker. It was also a nice vacation because of the lovely weather, we came back to New England and 11 degrees and it snowed today.
WE appreciate how you enjoy the visits from the kids and babies, we miss the babies while on vacation but also enjoy the time alone. Have a great holiday.

I forgot to mention we were very disappointed with the Palms, less gaming, no senior promotions and the buffet was only open for a trail run of casino employees. Opening Dec 22 for the general public.

If you head south (from Harrah’s, which is where I assume you’ll be), then turn left on Ski Run Blvd, it goes gradually uphill until it ends at a great sledding hill. Free to access, and there are several places on that street to rent sleds, toboggans, discs, etc.

Also, there should be enough snow on the ground for a sleigh ride–Borges Sleigh Rides is across from the MontBleu (though they actually have the rides on/near a golf course nearby). I highly recommend it (you can’t go on a sleigh ride in Vegas!).

Those two activities will thrill the kiddos.

my daughter works for the cruse line in Tahoe called Safari Rose owned by her friend. They are cruising this winter so call them and take the whole family. I went twice this summer and it was awesome.
