Kevin Lewis
Not quite sure where you are getting your information on Bitcoin as a money laundering tool.
Although I'm sure it does happen, the public nature of all Bitcoin transactions prevent it being used in this way to any large degree.
By this I mean every transaction of Bitcoin is viewable to everyone that uses Bitcoin. Just think about that for a minute, that's the same as seeing every transaction that goes through your bank.
In fact the director of the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network told the US Senate cash is still the best way to launder money.
By that reckoning I guess we need to avoid all casinos
BTW I don't use Bitcoin myself so I have no self interest

Bitcoin is a pseudo-money that is exchanged dollar-for-dollar for, well, dollars--which makes one wonder why any sane person would exchange one for the other. It has turned out, however, that because of its relative untraceability compared to other, more conventional forms of currency, particularly in international transactions, it has become the medium of choice for drug transactions, illicit arms sales, terrorist group financing, and sex slave trafficking. The D's and Golden Gate's acceptance of Bitcoin means that in addition to supporting the above "industries," they will be the new Vegas epicenter of money laundering. I guess they figure the increased cash flow is worth the morally and legally dubious nature of the practice. I, for one, knowing what I know about Bitcoin, will never set foot in either of those places again.
