While people do like variety, they have certain expectations about their food. If you order a plate of spaghetti, you don’t expect it to contain radishes or chocolate pudding. A hamburger should not contain veal or olives. That sort of thing may be original, but more often than not, it falls flat. Plus, in a casino, people looking for food are not always on an adventure. Sometimes their heads are ringing from four hours on the slots or at the tables. They might want potato soup that, y’know, is made from potatoes and is actually liquid.
