It was for our 25 wedding anniversary. We just got back from our 53 and last trip in August. We will both be 79 by the end of this year. The 5 & 1/2 hour trip each way seems longer each trip. The fun & excitement is not the same. we have so many great memories. We used to stay at a different casino on the strip each trip. We would walk up & down the strip when we were younger. Now we were staying 4 nights at The Orleans & 5 nights downtown where the casinos are near each other. we have so many great memories. but we decided it was time to call it a day.
