Harrah’s Buffet Promo Price Raise

From the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Facebook page:

When we introduced the Buffet of Buffets, we weren’t quite sure how much you all would like it. The answer: you like it a lot! Maybe a little too much, to be honest. In order to maintain our standards of service, and to keep our guests from spending too much time in line, we’ve adjusted the price of the 24-hour pass. It’s now $34.99 for Total Rewards members, $39.99 for everyone else.

But, yes, you CAN use your Reward Credits to pay for the pass!

Thanx to my frugal Internet friend, Jean H–, for this heads up.

when you buy this meal ticket why does’nt count as a line pass instead of standing in line?

The only thing that sickens me about this fatuous, self-serving announcement is the statement that they have raised the buffet pass price with THEIR GUESTS’ WELL-BEING as their sole motivation for doing so! LOL, followed by gagging sound.

Also note that price “adjustments” are NEVER downwards. I loathe dissembling language in general, in advertisements in particular, and specifically, in casino advertisements. Why can’t they at least TRY to tell the truth for once, if only for the sake of variety: “We made a stupid blunder in grossly underestimating the number of people who would take advantage of this offer, and since so many people have come into our casinos as a result, uh…wait a minute…that’s what we WANTED to happen…maybe we shouldn’t now be pissing everybody off…uhhhhhh (BOOM; head explodes)

I was in Vegas 2 weeks ago for the Laughlin River Run and I didn’t eat at any buffets. I used SaveLv.com restaurant dining coupons to try the eats on the local Vegas economy. I found alot of real good places to eat by doing this and I got away from the strip to see the real Vegas.

Why would you raise the price of a good thing and hurt your dedicated players….GREED
