Holidays in Las Vegas
No, we don’t spend all our time in casinos. We have a richly filled “real” life. Pictures below were taken on Thanksgiving Day, which we spent with family enjoying my sister’s delicious home-cooked traditional turkey dinner.
Okay, so we did stop in at the Hard Rock casino on our way, just for the few minutes it took for us to redeem our mailers for a couple of free pumpkin pies.
Thanksgiving 2011

Talk about a Grinch…..Bill. The rest of us love the personal side of Jean Scott and her family. It reminds us all what is truly important in life. We all feel very honored she chooses to share these precious moments.
Thank you Jean
Hey how about more frugal tips instead of personal stories. Isn’t that what your column is suppose to be about? I like your personal stories, but like your frugal tips even better.
Jean, you are adorable. You remind of character you might see on The TV show The Walton’s even though they most likely would never gamble. You have that comfy down home personality in your writing scenario
Naah. I don’t believe you. It was double points day at South Point–how could you have resisted? I think not 🙂
By the way, this Sunday’s points multiplier at the Gold coast is pretty good.
Hi Jean!! Glad to see that you enjpoyed Thanksgiving as well as I did. I was in a Rehab unit after getting my left knee replaced and was allowed to go to my daughters house for my Thanksgiving with my family. It was wonderful. I hope that you enjoyed those Pumpkin Pies because they looked very good.
Have a Happy Holidays with your family.
it is good to see Brad looking so rested and so well!! As for you, you always look great~~
Hi Jean! How nice that you spent Thanksgiving at your sister’s house, enjoying a traditional turkey dinner. Your sister must live in Las Vegas also, or at least close by. Is she a skilled gambler like you and Brad? And I’m curious, did she move there after you and Brad did?
Happy Holidays!
