They are tightening the screws on locals too. I am a low, low roller who used to get mailers each month usually for three BOGO free meals at Stations and some minimal free slot play, discounted room rates. No more.

BOGO can also mean “buy one, get another at half off.” Probably seen more often in retail/food/automotive, etc., but the BIG print is, intentionally, to draw your attention to the ad. Might still be a decent deal, depending on the particulars, but beware.

I’ve seen a drastic reduction in what Boyd sends me. I’m out of town and used to get multiple free room offers, which were also good on weekends. Now, I’m getting weekday-only BOGO room offers. I know that everything’s tightening up all over town, but this is a pretty drastic reduction (needless to say, I don’t get any free play or food comps). And I haven’t even committed the grievous sin of winning (perish the thought!). I was wondering if Boyd was also tightening the screws for locals. I have a little bit of anecdotal evidence that that is the sad case. At least you can still find NSUD at the GC and Orleans and eke out a small edge on senior multiplier days. Probably not for long, though.
