Thanks, Kevin, for posting the details of this good promotion. I did see it advertised in the newspaper and I assume there are details on their website. I do not play there because I have been no-mailed!! :( I encourage input about good promotions; I certainly don't consider my monthly promotion blog comprehensive by any means.

You left out South Point (maybe you just don't play there). Anyway, Sun-Wed for all of January, $2000 coin-in on VP (or $500 on slots) gets you a virtual wheel spin. The prizes are all points or free play, and the worst you can get (which, I assume, will be the case most of the time) is 2,500 points, which is worth a little over $7. From past experience, you do get the next higher level up prizes fairly often, and that would be 5,000 points (about $15) or $10 free play--there are bigger prizes, which I presume you do get once in a while, as well. Also, huge improvements over previous iterations of this promo: there aren't any prizes you might not want, such as movie tickets or breakfast buffets. Furthermore, you can get FOUR spins a day.

Making the reasonable presumption that the +EV of a spin is $10, you can play NSUD @ 99.73%, earn points that are worth 0.3%, and then do the spins, which are gravy, earning an additional 0.5%. Almost as good as FPDW, when the dust settles.
