The $45 Dinner price at Ceaser comes to $90 for 2 people. As a Senior when we visit Vegas we use the 2 for 1,and spend between $18-$20 for both. We don'teat that much plus waiting over an hour to eat is stupid.I understand people with money can care less about spending this kind of money for a Buffet, but to me this is a waste. With the money they spend we can go to 4 or 5 buffets for that money. To me this not beingfrugal ,but being smart. The difference in quality is not that much, and it all comes out when you go to the toilet. Years ago when we went more often to Vegas i ate so much food that I would be running to the bathroom with cramps. As we get older we get smarter, and we know what enough is enough. The books that American Casino Guide, and Las Vegas Advisor offer is what we have used, and made eating at Buffets reasonable. To me I look at these people spending this type of money just money wasters. Sincerely, Leo Berman

We went for an early lunch. No line, paid breakfast price and hung around for over an hour. The 'mexican' food was not the type that I care for. The whole place is not overly fancy. Lots of good choices. Asian food was good. Pizza was good. We don't do seafood but lots of people were 'wolfin' it down. Desserts were good. This is a higher tier buffet, but nothing to pay $50+ for, unless you can afford it. The orange juice was awesome, fresh squeezed. Servers were attentive, several different ones helped us. All types of people eating. We probably won't go again. We are more of the plain meat and potatoes crowd. However, the candied sweet potatoe tots were to die for.

I hear what you are saying Steve. My wife commented to me that if they are ponying up $45 each for dinner, the extra $15 isn't an issue, especially if it gets them seated really fast.

Thank you so much for the $15 VIP pass information. Do I think it is worth it? Absolutely, for a few bucks you feel like a million bucks and you enjoy your meal. It reminds me of the eighties in Vegas when they had the maitre'd controlling the entrances. I would simply walk to the head of the usually long line and ask if they had my reservation, and extend a twenty. My wife still talks about the faces of the people in line, as we were immediately seated. There is a time to be frugal and there is a time to enjoy money. IMO

Yikes! $45 for dinner and you may have to wait an hour to get in, or fork over another $15 for a line pass? No thanks, I'll just go over to the Flamingo's Paradise Gardens Buffet. Thanks for the info Jean, but this low roller will steer clear of the Bacchanal Buffet.

As someone has already mentioned never a wait at any Caesar's Entertainment Buffet with a Diamond or 7 Stars card.
I hope it's better than the Paris Buffet which has really gone downhill. At one time they had the freshest and largest crab legs I have has anywhere. Now if you get them chilled they are overloaded with salt and are very small. Paris use to have a much better salad bar. Spice Market is okay. I usually eat their Mediterranean chicken on a skewer. Rio is still good but not of same quality from years ago. If you want to good buffets in town you have to pay the price. Wynn is excellent. I look forward to trying the Bacchanal when in town. At $44.99 that is quite a bit of money even with full value on your reward credits it still comes out to $22.50 cash as you can get free play in the same amount.

Luckily I've had three free opportunities to try the Bacchanal Buffet. I have a few comments:

- $15 line pass for each member in party is ridiculous
- the food quality is excellent
- I think anyone > 4 feet tall will find it uncomfortable
to access some of the food items due to the very low
lighting fixtures and protective covers over the food
- not enough fresh fruit
- I suppose you could construct your own salad(s) to
match the wonderful selection at M Resort's buffet but
that is too inconvenient

We're planning on taking advantage of lunch price for dinner dining. The regular line appears to be 20-30 minutes. There is nobody in the Diamond/Seven Stars line. We've heard so much about Bacchanal so looking forward to it.
