The reason they can’t be truthful upfront is because they’re a casino.

I wonder why anyone should even bother to figure out the Palms gobbledygook when the best machines that earn points are 9/6 JOB (and only a few at that), and the points multipliers will, at best, get you back to breakeven. If those machines pay full points (and some don’t), then you’ll get 0.50% points, for a grand total of…drum roll, pleeez…. 100.04%. This is making the very safe assumption that you’ll only get the 2x multiplier. So put in $10,000, lose $46, and earn $54 in comps!!!!! WHEE!! Why even go there?

(One caveat: if you have managed to avoid being no-mailed, this is a relatively painless way to put in your monthly obligation. Reports are, though, that VP players are generally treated by the Palms like pocket lint. I am out of town, and for $30K coin-in on JOB a few months ago (gift promo), I have received…nothing.)

Hi Jean, concerning the Palms. I recently contacted them, they said FPVP is excluded from getting any points. Is this something special in March?
