yes this is a hell of a good deal. matter of fact it doesnt make a difference if you play quarters or dollars. the party is over once you have played 320 hands at quarter level with max coin. but the 16,000 points comp value buys you a good steak dinner. i dont think you can lose much on that one. good luck everyone.

Finally! After twenty-odd years, a casino comes up with a promo that's good for the little guy but can't be burned out by the pros. The 400-point limit means that you can earn a maximum of 16,000 points with the multiplier, which is $16 in cash or free play or $26.66 in food comps. That equates to an either 4% or almost 6.5% return. That makes any video poker game on the floor worth playing. Of course (and here's the catch), you have to stop playing once you earn those 400 points, and many people won't do that.
I wish I'd known about the GC version of this promo--Big Boyd sent me an email about the Orleans Sunday promo but nothing on the Thursday GC promo. You gotta look on every casino's website at the beginning of the month, and not rely on mailers, people's websites, or scuttlebutt.
