You may not be aware of this, but there hasn’t been this much snow up there for four years, especially not this early in the year. It’s actually pretty close to what is normal–I remember growing up in the Bay Area and expecting to be able to ski by Thanksgiving. Most of the ski areas opened on Nov. 10 this year, and three more storms are going to hit by Christmas! Let it snow…

There’s nothing but garbage video poker up there (some 9/6 JOB here and there–whee), but why spend any time inside a casino when you’re in one of the most beautiful places on the planet?
