December is a good month, just before Christmas the room rates and food deals are great. If you want to stay on the strip, we stay at Bill’s, it is small and is a very short walk, (about a hundred feet) to the Flamingo. you can also inquire about a bus pass for seniors( get the all city 24 hour one) and the Deuce will take you just about anywhere including downtown.
If you join the Las Vegas advisor, you will have access to the bulletin boards for any questions and local help, plus you get the coupon book when you join.
Have a great time. ( There are also elevators and walkways to cross the streets) (installed since the 80’s) No more “traffic dodging!!!”

To answer Michelle’s comment. No, I don’t have a newsletter. But the Las Vegas Advisor is a good monthly resource.

Perhaps staying downtown would be handy for yourr mom? Casinos close together.

Hello all,…
In the next few months, somewhere between now and March, I will taking my mom (80 in March) to Las Vegas. Neither of us have been in nearly 20 years. So,…Do any of you have a recommendation as to what hotel and/or Casino we be best for us to stay and play as basically first timers? And does Jean have a newsletter? Thanks! Michelle
