I regard this game with a white-hot loathing that I usually reserve only for right-wing political media commentators and people who smoke in public. The soul-crushing aspect of this game is when you go through 200+ credits without getting off the bottom two lines--in about three minutes!
The trouble is, the game has INSANE variance. The normal "cushion" of playing multiple lines doesn't apply, because a huge portion of your total return will come from that top line. How often you get there and what you get when you do are pretty much the sole determinants of a winning or losing session.
I "solved" (as in, avoided) the problem of multiple strategies by having one strategy for the bottom two lines and another for the top two. This was inaccurate, but not terribly so--I calculated I was losing about 0.06%, in addition to my mind. I have played .25 NSUD MS at the Gold Coast on 7X point days and have been socked for -$500 or worse on multiple occasions.
The game is like a roller coaster ride, after you've eaten twelve corn dogs: the game can be thrilling but after a while, all the ups and downs make you want to throw up.

I haven't played multi-strike in the casino because of the multiple strategies for each level and they are hard to find on the east coast.

Does seem like a fun game, may have to consider putting in the time to learn proper strategy because I actually do like high volatility games, but only when I'm winning of course.

MS is my very favorite game . I learned the stategy from Dancer's video and pratice all the time. I know what you mean about the ups and downs. I have to be careful what I can bet, but I love playing it. Looking forward to your next entry about it.
