Sometime in the next ten or twenty years, I hope to read about a player’s club change where the benefits are improved and it’s easier than before to earn comps.

I also hope to be visited by a magic unicorn holding a bag of gold coins in its teeth.

The best benefit for the new MGM Rewards program, is that Gold tier and above, now get Comped Resort Fees. So myVegas players and others can now fully comped rooms and reduced $8.00 rates at Excalibur & Luxor, are now ten bucks with taxes.

Lastly, All Royal Caribbean Emerald & above, Crown & Anchor members, get Status Matched to Gold tier. The Royal status is for life, so MGM status will remain Gold, for annual renewals as well.
