Have you ever considered a white board with calendar squares? You can write on it and erase easier than pencil also you can hang it on the wall and reuse it each month. This would keep extra paper out of the landfills and might save you money. They also tend to be bigger that regular calendars for easier reading.

Just a frugal suggestion.
