I have heard some terrible experiences from friends who have stayed at the Tropicana recently. I hope you had a good time at the Tropicana and no problems.

I’m sure that everyone that visits you at the food court will be thrilled with the visit.
Please let us know if there are “Hot dogs with really soft buns at the Trop” or if they are as good as at the Orleans Sports book! We all had one in December Just before you moved from Vegas. It was a great visit.
Enjoy and have fun with Susan….Life is all about fun and new experiences when we get to be seniors.

I visited AC in 2006, and my overriding impression was that if you walked inland even one block, suddenly, you were in a bombed-out war zone. It was painfully obvious that the casinos’ extravagant promises to “rehabilitate” the Boardwalk area were pure moonshine.

Insofar as learning the various -EV casino games is concerned, the primary metrics should be how much per hour it costs to play them (NOT necessarily the house advantage per se) and how difficult they are to learn (including any needed strategy). That’s one reason I enjoy pai gow poker–it’s slow, and half the hands are pushes. Hard to bleed out on that game.
