So many people write and ask if Brad and I are ever going to be at a public event where they would have an opportunity to meet us and chat. We don’t do as many of these as we used to, but I want to remind you of one coming up this Saturday, April 6, at the Clark County Library at 1401 E. Flamingo Road. This is the 5th annual Spring Fling Book Fair, scheduled from 11am-12:30pm and from 1:30pm-3pm where I will be part of around 100 local authors who will be at tables, ready to talk about and offer for sale their books. I will be there in the 1:30pm-3pm segment and Brad and I will be very happy to meet and talk to old and new frugalite friends. Come and chat, whether you are an experienced gambler looking for new ideas or a novice who is beginning his study to become a wiser casino visitor. Bring your dog-eared Frugal books if they need an autograph. Or, if you want to add to your gambling book collection, there will be the opportunity to buy books and have them personally autographed right on the spot.
Also on this day will be entertaining acts in the Main Theater of the library, including a Hollywood authors’ panel, a spirit guide channeling session by Las Vegas psychic intuitive Gregory Kompes, and a classical/jazz fusion music concert by Cirque du Soleil musician Shana Tucker. As with all library sponsored events, the book fair and entertainment will be free admission and open to the general public.
Hi, Jean ~ Hubby and I were in Vegas this past week and I saw you and Brad playing at the Gold Coast (Monday I think). I would have loved to say Hi, but I felt like I was coming down with some kind of bug so I decided against it. Anyway, hope you were lucky that day! Hope to run into you again on our next trip.
