You are 100% correct about access to money and bankroll management in any gambling you do, the difference between a gambling addict and an advantage player is your ability to control yourself, to see yourself honestly. Setting up a loss limit for any single day gambling is the very best thing you will ever do in a casino, set one up, in stone. I set up a win limit as well, not quite in stone, but gamblers need to allow themselves to have good days and good results. I don't beat myself up for losing my daily stipend, but if I get ahead and give it back, I pummel myself, know when to walk away, casinos will always be open. A retired person has a time advantage, use it, be grateful for it, a working person has only a finite amount of time to gamble, which can lead to bad things. A retired person can walk away and come back tomorrow. When I go to Las Vegas I bring a certain amount for each day, I never deviate, when I lose it I people watch or go to my hotel room. I learned all of this the hard way, when I was young I broke every rule, the only thing that saved me was there used to be no ATM's in casinos. Thank you for posting about limitations and problem gambling, it breaks my heart to see people suffering doing the hobby I love...
