Thanks for this timely update. I live in Phoenix and was lucky enough to take advantage of this promotion at the end of July. I was just telling another local player about it. Now I will have to correct myself next time I see him. Constantly changing promotions are frustrating enough, but coupled with bad information, that makes you want to scream!

Other than the usual corporate penny-pinching, I wonder what was the reason for canceling this very popular promotion. I'm sure it normally got thousands of people playing who might have spent their time/money elsewhere. How stupidly shortsighted of Stations to turn cheapskate!

The bottom line may improve by cutting back the points (and I actually think profits will DROP as a result), but is it worth the damage to goodwill? Last year, I envisioned Stations chortling to itself as its main rival, Boyd, shot itself in the foot with its ruination of its players' club. Now, I guess, Station feels it has the latitude to do the same...? Is there ANY casino operator out there that doesn't hate its customers???

If the information was listed on the corporate parent's website, the honorable thing for the casino to do would be to honor it. Yes, people make mistakes. But honorable companies try to make up for those mistakes. If this was any other state, people would be running to the gaming authorities.
