Some Vegas Culture

Vegas isn’t world-renown for the “arts,” by any stretch.  However, there are many pockets of “culture” around if you look for them.  One place to search  is the Web site City of LV – Office of Cultural affairs.

Below is a sampling of the many events during the upcoming Vegas Valley Book Festival, Nov. 3 – 7, 2010 at the Historic Fifth Street School.   It is billed as a Celebration of the Written, Spoken and Illustrated Word.

For more details on these and the many other events and activities  go to the Festival Web site.
