Time Marches On

Yes, it is true Brad entered a new decade of his life.  He turned 80 on January 18 while we were at the Horseshoe in Hammond, Indiana.  It was a great time to use up a Harrah’s Seven Star Celebration Dinner at their fine steakhouse.  However, we needed more friends to help us celebrate – the six of us tried but just couldn’t eat up $500 worth of food, tasty as it was.  (In Indiana you can’t run up the bill with alcoholic drinks –  although that is not an option for us anyway since we neither one can imbibe because of medical conditions.)

Actually we celebrated his birthday most of the month.  The Frugal Princess family helped him celebrate while they were in town over the holidays.  Here is a picture of Brad, with the two grandkids, at that party.

    Happy belated Birthday Brad.

I remember meeting you and Jean at the Rosemont Convention Center back in the early ’90’s.

Your grandkids were cute babies at that time.

Hope you had a great Birthday in Hammond.

Maybe we can meet the next time we are in Vegas and you can show me the correct way to play Video Poker.
