100 Smackers to Test New Games — and More to Come

We’re working on lots of new things for gamblers at LVA. They’re summarized below, but you might want to take advantage of this first one right away.

If you live in Las Vegas or will be in town March 1 or 2, you can participate in a field study for new games that’s being conducted by one of the world’s leading manufacturers. These events are usually fun, but in this case, it’ll be profitable too, as participants will be paid $100 for about 90 minutes of their time. You’ll need to be accepted by the sponsor via a phone screening, which you can do by following the instructions in the official invite below. They need about 60 people and pairs (spouses, friends, etc.) can join in if both qualify. It’s first-come first-served, so contact them right away. For reasons germane to the process, I can’t give you more details, but I know who’s conducting the study and that the offer is legitimate. You’ll be given full details during the screening.

We are seeking casino patrons in the Las Vegas area to participate in a market research discussion on March 1st and 2nd. We are looking to speak with both locals and tourists.

New Games

Along the lines of the above offer, we’re discussing a new-games test area where game developers can put their creations up for our customers to play. At first we weren’t certain this made sense, but we tried a version of it with Ultimate X video poker from VideoPoker.com that’s available now. I can attest that it’s fun to play, even though no rewards are involved. Do you want to understand Ultimate X? Playing this demo is the way to do it. We’re considering bringing more new games into the fold to create a cool area for players to try the latest.

Then there’s real gambling. Online. Legal online gambling opportunities are about to explode in sports, as well as in poker and casino games. ZorkFest

Long-time LVA members will remember the parties we sponsored back in the ’90s. They were epic get-togethers that included dinners, free rooms, gambling bonuses, and meet and greets, which hundreds of people attended and loved. But the organizing was too much for us to deal with at the time and we got out of the party/conference business. Enter ZorkFest. This conference for gamblers debuted last year in Atlantic City, and even though it was put together quickly, it drew more than 100 attendees. This year, ZorkFest has been planned more carefully and is taking place in Las Vegas, May 25-27. LVA will be involved and I’ll be hanging out and running a session or two during the conference that will include Vegas podcasters, gambling notables, and travel experts.
