Since Kelby has written books on casino management, marketing, and operations I wonder if he thinks that the new luxury in Las Vegas casinos will be “mask less” gambling. In the casino mask less gambling would separate the people along lines of class like the casino already does. But mask less gambling would give the client a sense of the good ol’ days. The high roller rooms could be retrofitted into negative pressure rooms like they have in hospitals which would be reserved for the high rollers. All dealers would be required to wear a mask at all times along with other casino personnel to “stay in character” of the pandemic but the patrons will be mask less. By creating such an atmosphere in the casino it would certainly create a sense of self importance and luxury designed at getting high rollers back into casinos.
