Richard, I didn’t like that movie “The Gambler” either. It sucked and the main character was portrayed as a degenerate gambler. Maybe then can make a movie in the future to top that.
I don’t hate “Rounders” but every time I watch that movie or think about that movie it reminds of playing poker in local clubs and bars. Teddy KGB is a representation of 99.9% of the players I see in such places. I’ve seen a lot of underhanded $hit in bars and clubs while playing poker such as the rules to the game being changed on the turn of a dime, being barred from dealing, and the people running the poker game at the club not updating the leaderboard correctly on purpose because the players would realize that someone is kicking their asses. Out of all the gambling games that I’ve ever played poker has the most prejudiced players I’ve ever seen, bar none!
Could You or Bob suggest 3 of your favorite VP bars or Lounges, I am planning my next trip and would like to play GOOD VP(locally). Thanks
