I recently read a book by Frank Scoblete dealing with speed count – a simplified card counting technique. In your opinion, is this method of card counting effective?
AS might disagree, but I would say: Counting gives a modest edge, so there isn’t much room for error. I don’t think it’s wise to use an ultrasimple “toy count” when a good system like Knock-Out (KO) is available that is quite good and simple enough to be feasible. And KO is simple enough to learn straightaway, without starting with an even simpler system.
How does Arnold feel about Norman Wattenberger of Blackjack The Forum creating REKO? Does Arnold feel that Norm took his system for blackjack?
