Never miss another post
First, Steve Cyr is one of your best guests and it was a great interview.
I did find it funny that Steve claimed no knowledge of the “Penthouse Weekend”. Not only does Arnold Snyder write about it but the same story is told in “Whale Hunt in the Desert”. When I read that part in “Radical Blackjack”. I went immediately to my copy of “Whale Hunt in the Desert” Check it out. I believe this is the exact same story being told from both perspectives. It is not completely clear in my memory if Steve Cyr was actually the host that offered the comp or if it was one of the “Orangutans”.
I’ll give Mr. Cyr the benefit of the doubt and assume that he just doesn’t remember. It was a long time ago and Steve has lived a colorful life. Thanks Bob, Richard and Steve for a great show!
