We have two guests next week. Jeffrey Compton — publisher of CDCGamingReports.com — and he’ll be talking about current events in the gambling world.
Also, professor David G. Schwartz, director of the Center for Gaming Research at UNLV, and we’ll be looking at his new book, Tales from the Pit. In this book, Schwartz interviews 20 or so casino table game executives who have been in the business forever discussing how the business has changed over the past 40 years.
Personally, I’m also looking forward to Munchkin’s stories — as he was a dealer “way back when” and has been a player ever since.
We’ll be taping the show Monday afternoon. If you have any questions for Jeffrey and/or David, please post them here and they’ll be considered. As usual, the show will be posted next Thursday.

Never miss another post
Bob,
I look forward to your articles about VP in the weekly LVA. I also read monthly in the “Gaming Guide” in Calif. This weeks LVA column however didn’t have any article. Only comments about upcoming podcasts. Did they cut you off unintentionally? Thank you
Edward, I think you’re looking in the wrong spot. Bob’s column is still posted every Tuesday and it’s there as usual. This is the Gambling With an Edge thread, which discusses guests upcoming and is a place for the audience to follow up with questions after each show. We’ll take a look at better differentiating the two.
