Maybe you guys don’t understand how people listen to your podcast, but in my case I run iTunes and Waze at the same time in the mornings comuting to work (yes, we comute in Sweden too). So in order to hear what you say, especially when yourself or some of your guests sits too far away from the microphone, I shit my pants every time Waze cut’s in and gives an instruction since I have to have the volume so high.
I still listen to your pod and have done it for the last some 20 episodes, but if you had ANY less interesting content I would not bother at all. So please keep the good content and improve on sound quality!
I agree with the above comment. The sound quality is horrific. Please listen to Mac Power Users. That is what a professional podcast sounds like and as a bonus they have podcasts where they specifically discuss the equipment they use for the podcast. I understand that podcasting isn’t an especially lucrative business, but the proper equipment would be a worthwhile investment.
I love the content of you show but you both have such unique voices that a sound engineer would also be a worthwhile investment to at least get some of the settings to where you are speaking at the same volume levels. You are turning off listeners, so if you want to increase your audience do yourself this favor.
Sound quality, sound quality, sound quality!
