I would play poker against Donald Trump. I think it would be easy to make a complete mockery out of Donald Trump at the poker table. The problem with playing poker against someone like Trump is that he has an unlimited bankroll, so he can turn out your lights with one right decision if all the money is in the pot. Another thing about someone like Trump is that he is used to being catered to, he’s filthy rich! He would probably want a professional dealer to cater to his weakness at the table so he would not look like a complete ass in front of me when he’s getting badgered, berated, and laughed at. There are so many holes in Donald Trumps poker game that he’s just like any other person on the street. He’s part of the 99%. Ex Casino bosses are not immune from losing.
Donald Trump in the real world represents the 0.0000000000001 %. But in the poker world he would be among the 99%.
He would lose $5000 to me in half an hour and then Fox News would report that he won $3 million from me.
A great conversation starter to have with Trump if anyone were allowed to have a poker game with him would be Trump Entertainment. How Trump Entertainment was on the pink sheets back in 2009 & 2010. A good question to ask him would be what happened to Trump Entertainment? Is the Trump Taj in AC boarded up, I heard so much about the place? A person could say, “I wanted to invest with Trump Entertainment but I thought WYNN and LVS were better choices for my money.” 🙂
It’s interesting that Gus Hansen’s name got brought up in the interview. I loved watching Gus play on TV back many years ago. I remember watching a WPT episode where he won a title. I got used to hearing Gus’ name and seeing him play. The last time I seen him he was playing a televised event a few years ago, can’t remember which event. He looked as if he has lost a lot of weight, I could see it in his face. I couldn’t believe it! I was under the impression that Gus had somehow gotten hooked on cocaine or had some other medical malady that was causing weight loss. That’s been my last memory of Gus for the last 2 years, and the boxing match he fought in.
