While I haven’t been to Sagos, I think Bob’s math was accidentally wrong. In an average VP game, quads happen once about every 425 hands. 20 bets in 425 hands is a 4.7% advantage. I assume Bob was thinking of a card of the day, where a 100 coin bonus of a quad of a single rank is worth an additional 0.4%
FWIW, Anthony Curtis does not allow casinos to add gambling coupons to the LVA coupon book unless they are +EV. So while I don’t know the best EV game at Sagos, I’m going to assume that it is over 96% or Anthony would not have included it.

Regarding getting backed off for using a martingale or reverse martingale (can’t remember which): casinos panic whenever they see a system, most don’t work, but some do, and the casinos don’t really know which ones work and which ones don’t, hence the general panic. Some people think no systems work, but they would be wrong. A simple system that works is to play a flush attack when it’s in flush attack mode, max bet till it hits. Casinos back off far more regular gamblers than the occasional few so-called “advantage gamblers” they spot. As a general rule they just back off winners, as if regular gamblers can never win and so-called “advantage gamblers” can never lose. Can you imagine the fiasco it would be if casinos ran the lotteries and refused to sell any more tickets to previous winners?
You might be able to get away with that in Iowa…….. LOL
The number of miles away from Las Vegas is directly proportional with worse casino intelligence should be the stock answer for any card counting/hole-carding heat related questions.

This is a strategy, not a system. You’re only playing the game in a positive state.
Any thoughts on casinos that are using whole house progressive slot systems??? (Yes, even Video Poker) – several Indian casinos in Minnesota use this system and I know the State owned Iowa casino by Sioux Falls, SD uses this also.
You can tell a whole house system by the fact that 25% to 50% of the slot players will hit a bonus at within minutes of each other. Video Poker players will usually hit 4 of a kind or a straight flush as a bonus “substitute”.
The strategy is “only play a game with positive expectation”. To achieve this strategy, you need systems (collections of tactics). How do you know a particular game in a particular situation is positive and if positive what is the optimal way to play? Only a system can tell you. Someone could point out to you that a particular slot or card game has gone positive, but without a viable system you will not likely obtain that positive potential.
So you’re saying card counting in blackjack is a system? I’m certain most folks would disagree.
