The wand that MPS mentioned seemed odd. Pre-pandemic I seen a pit critter wanding some cards but I don’t think she was disinfecting the cards with UV light. I think she was checking the cards to see if they were marked with invisible dye because the way she was looking through the cards.
The way the team members caught the thief was very interesting to hear, not only was he a thief but he a liar as well. It’s a good thing that he was discovered early on so that he didn’t bleed the team dry. It must take a special type of trust to entrust someone with thousands of dollars in cash to play a game in a casino. Stealing seems to be a common theme with some blackjack teams. I guess the temptation is to great but who tested out such a thief to be on the team in the first place? Did anyone other team member verify this persons skill level? Personally I could never trust anyone to do such out of all the people I’ve ever played cards with throughout the years. I don’t trust any of them.
