Love love love your show. But I have a beef regarding this episode. I would have loved a question or two asking Roger Jones his thoughts on being viewed as a parasite. I mean, he called people who make low ball offers leeches (or something like that, I forget the exact term he used), and yet ticket brokers are ruining major events (like concerts and sporting events) by making it damn near impossible to get good seats for face value. Ticket brokers have a parasitic relationship to the venue and performer. They add nothing, but take a way quite a bit.
Also, he mentioned that he has access to some of the best seats at many venues across the country. Is that some under the table deal he has made? It sounds like he basically has some insiders who he essentially bribes to make sure he gets the good seats, and then turns around and sells them for inflated prices. Not cool in my book.
I realize you guys need to “play nice” with your guests, so you don’t really want to ambush anyone. But I really believe ticket brokers have ruined the market for people like me who just want a fair shot at a good seat at face value.
