Our guest this week is arguably the world’s best gin rummy player, Michael Sall. He is the author of “Gin Rummy: A Predator’s Guide.” We spoke to Michael back in December and thought he merited a return visit.

Richard commented that you need to know a slot AP to learn that skill. It is possible to learn to do this also by searching slot ap web sites and watching videos by you tubers like Random Slots. If your sharp you can spot aspects of slot play like dollar symbols and bubbles that persists from spin to spin. Most of these are IGT slots.

Perhaps AI could become the best Gin player if the machine learned by playing against itself to develop the necessary strategies to defeat a biological entity as in the case of the Chinese game of Go. The computer could make many more calculations than any human could ever fathom and adjust it’s strategy with cards seen, etc.

I wonder if we’ll ever see heads up Gin Rummy cash games being offered in casino poker rooms across America if players are willing to go at it, where a dual automatic shuffling machine is used and a casino dealer is present to deal the game. Where both players agree to play for a certain dollar amount for each game. They could even have tournaments to help grow the game to make it more mainstream for a new generation of players, young and old. Or such a thing could be done in underground card rooms to keep the action out of mega corporate casino hands which I would prefer.

I didn’t know that Mike Sexton passed away. That sucks, Mike was a great person and I had him in my thoughts recently. The news was shocking to hear.

Once Michael left the conversation Bob briefly mentioned Rx Gamble’s hole carding workshop for $2K. Knowing that the nature of table games in casinos has changed drastically since March 2020 I wonder if she was teaching pre-pandemic hole carding strategies or post-pandemic hole carding strategies. Surely a new plan would be required for the New World.

I wonder if anyone has ever discussed or talked about online hole carding opportunities at Blackjack where a player is sitting in the comfort of their own home. I believe it can be done and the thoughts have inundated my mind.
