Sociopaths in Poker and when Mel Judah & the APPC didn’t Pay a GTD Poker Tournament

January 14, 2019 3 Comments Written by Nicholas Colon

This week Dr. Nick and the HAC discuss several hot topics in poker as well as other front and center gaming news. The HAC goes in depth about a recent article she posted on the Women’s Poker World website that has gone viral about sociopaths in poker. Also Dr. Nick discusses a tournament in poker that was run my Mel Judah and the APPC in Sydney Australia where he bought a ticket to 6K guaranteed tournament and took 2nd and was entitled to a 3k package; however it was wasn’t paid by the tournament director Mel Judah, APPC and Crocodile Entertainment. The two organizations are owned and operated Natalie and John Segon.

Always be aware of who you engage in gaming tournaments with and who you associate with in the gaming industry. Very few people can cause great harm to an industry.

Also Dr. Nick gives us an update on his ongoing court case against the Nevada Gaming Board and the American Gaming Association.

Nice way to smear Mel Judah from one poker player to another. I’m sure you think he’s a piece of shit the way that tournament got handled and how they reneged. Hopefully you can get compensation.

I like the information podcast, but I can’t listen for more than a few minutes at a time when the hosts keep interrupting each other. I realize it’s a relatively new offering, and I hope the issue gets worked out.

That was an interesting article on sociopaths Hot Aussie Chick. I think there are 3 different types of gamblers in the world… AP’s, those who gamble with cash, and those who gamble with their life.
