If you have an FSA or HSA, paying those bills via credit card is another way to get the spend in. For HSA, you can pay the bill with your credit card and then ask for reimbursement via check from your HSA account.
If you are planning to give out gift cards as gifts for Christmas, this is a very easy way to increase the spending on a particular credit card. Even better if the credit card has a supermarket bonus. Use the credit card to buy gift cards at your local supermarket and get the spend bonus in addition to meeting your sign up bonus requirement.
2020 has been a tough year and many people find they are spending less this year than in previous years. This is one way to still take advantage of credit card sign up offer and still make the minimum spend.
