Las Vegas Strip Resort Fees

With resort fees averaging $44 per night, plus parking fees adding another $15 to $20, these add-ons can increase a $200-per-night room (roughly the Strip average) by a significant 25%. It's like staying for four nights and paying for five. What a deal! We say, let the clueless help the Strip casinos continue to reap their record profits. Those in the know keep looking for better-value accommodations.

    Outrageous!
I’ve been coming to Las Vegas for decades and lived there for almost 8 years. It seems that the resort fees get higher and higher while providing fewer fewer services. It Lyme sick. I remember over 2 decades ago when the resort fees started at some places and the were minuscule but hidden. The guest didn’t know until after paying. Enough people complained and attorneys got involved, requiring that hotels give obvious notice of the fees.

It’s clear they’ve got some tax advantage or ability to show rock bottom prices for their hotel rooms and make up the rest of the money they want for resort fees.

First they took away the coffee makers in the room. Then started charging for a bottle of water. They probably pay under $1 buying in massive bulk. The internet is almost always worthless or super slow. The pools don’t appear to be included anymore?! But if the weather is horrible, they don’t refund portion of your resort fees when the pools are closed. It’s outrageous!

    Rip OFF
I am going to say what everyone really thinks - "Resort Fees" are nothing but a rip off and should be illegal.
