Have you always wanted to try Ross\u2019 Thanksgiving leftover sandwich?\nWell, you can (sort of).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t venture off\nthe Strip much, you may not be familiar with legendary Vegas sub shop\nCapriotti\u2019s. There are about a dozen locations across the Vegas Valley; the\nmost convenient ones are on Sahara west of the Strip (in the same strip mall as\nGolden Steer steakhouse) and on Paradise, across the street from the Virgin (formerly\nthe Hard Rock).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Capriotti\u2019s has a great\nmenu of both hot and cold subs. The bread is fresh and the full-size subs are\nhuge. The chicken cheese steak is nice and sloppy, like it should be, and the\nmeatball sub is exceptionally tasty. The tuna salad is top-notch as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the specialty is called the Bobbie. It\u2019s a sub with fresh turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo. (Sadly, Ross, there is no moist-maker). This is one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere, although the other sandwiches are so good that it\u2019s always tough to decide. Often, I get a hot sub to eat there and a Bobbie to go, since it also tastes great cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/vegas-with-an-edge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/bobbie.jpg?w=980&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3169\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Capriotti\u2019s is fast-casual,\nsort of like Subway. They have the usual variety of chips and drinks to go with\nyour sub, and a handful&nbsp;of tables to eat in, though most orders are to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pro tip \u2013 if you\u2019ve got a\nfridge in your room, stop by Capriotti\u2019s on your final full day in town and pick\nup a sub to bring with you on the plane the next day (or stop at the Paradise\nlocation on your way to the airport). It\u2019ll be better and less expensive than\nany food they have on the plane or at McCarran and you\u2019ll be the envy of\neveryone on the plane.
