Major props to the Clark County Fire Department for quenching the potential disaster, the worst in McCarran history, within five minutes. The plane was barreling down the runway at 100 miles per hour when the fire broke out, prompting one passenger to say, “Three seconds later, we would’ve left the ground and crashed in Henderson.”
