I have noticed many of these exchanges recently and wanted to bring them to light in a humorous way by placing them here alongside Hollywood celebrities and musicians. We are all ultimately the same before the flash of the mug shot bulb.”– German-born artist Rachel Schmeidler (whose interpretation of Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel appears above) on the subject matter of her new exhibit, “Hollywood Most Wanted + Co.” which runs through April 28 at Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood, Calif., the other entertainment capital of America. No other casino-related figures are featured in Schmeidler’s collection, although many Tinseltown-based denizens of the Las Vegas nightclub scene can be found in her rogue’s gallery.
