I wish downtown still had the loose slots and good VP. They have become the strip in that regard. The reason that profits go up, player numbers are down, take is up, is the player is getting shafted. Since Covid shut down most everthing, and fear is rampant (hell, I’m in my late 60’s, and I worry what will happen if I get it) I have saved a bunch of money by not going. I pay VP and am a pretty good player, but I guess not that good enough to even give myself a chance. Live poker, at least, they cannot mess too much with that.
