“[Las Vegas Review-Journal Editor Thomas] Mitchell told me Friday that I was cherry-picking stories to paint a negative picture of a paper he insisted plays it ‘fair and down the middle.’ I asked the editor whether his reporters might be getting a mixed message — with his unusual practice of writing so pointedly for one candidate. He responded: ‘It’s a blog.’ Maybe that meant his words didn’t count the same, seeing as they appeared only online. Is that what he meant? I tried to ask, but Mitchell had had enough. He hung up.” — another demonstration of the boorish, close-minded attitude that has made Mitchell’s paper the worst major (?) metropolitan daily in the U.S.

The LVRJ does not even pretend to be objective in my opinion. They give Angle cover by trying to make this election be 100% about Harry Reid. One of the amazing aspects of this race to me is the question I have for Sharron Angle: Do you support casino gambling? I honestly wonder if Angle considers gambling a sin. Some of her positions seem to suggest that she is 100% driven by her Religion, and she has actually stated that she feels she was sent by God to beat Harry Reid. My feeling on that matter is that God would have sent a better candidate to do the job if God does indeed consider Senate elections something worth meddling in.
Maybe God chose Sharron because she received “the Ronald Reagan Freedom Medallion from the Claremont Institute”, as she repeatedly tells us mortals.
Maybe God knows what that is, but I can’t find any reference to it except for Ms. Angle’s frequent trumpeting.
Can anybody help?
