Blast from the past

Thanks go out to reader Greg Askins for putting me onto this evocative TWA travel poster from 1965. Some of you might get a kick out of going back to a time when Yr. Humble Blogger was in short pants and a crew cut, and flying was actually enjoyable … and friendly. Now it’s just a damn chore.

Silly Season. You’d think bankruptcy might crimp a company’s ability to file frivolous lawsuits. Not if that company is Station Casinos, which is going after the Revolver Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona, because the lounge’s logo might resemble that of the Revolver Bar & Saloon at Texas Station. Yes, I know: It’s so easy to confuse Scottsdale with North Las Vegas. Happens to me all the time. (Helpful hint: One has people in it, the other doesn’t.) The lawsuit is filed by NP Opco, one of Station’s fecund LLC spawn, fathered by CFO Marc Falcone, who used to have better things to do with his time.
