Aria: Take it again from the top, boys

Y’all remember that ‘consciousness-raising’ campaign MGM Resorts International announced on behalf of Aria, earlier this week. The first in a six-part series of videos, The Reveal, went live late this afternoon. Subsequent blipverts will include The Motive and Entrapment. (It’s like an erotic thriller without

the nude scenes.) Unfortunately, CityCenter hasn’t heard about that little “embed” command you can bundle with Internet video, nor does the filmlet download via RealPlayer. Kinda hard for a video to go viral that way. However, you can find it on the Aria YouTube feed, although that version looks comparatively pallid. At whatever resolution, it’s still pretty clear that there’s some good, old-fashioned “self abuse” taking place as that sports car rolls up the Las Vegas Strip. Having battled Aria’s dysfunctional vehicular access, I wouldn’t call it an auto-erotic sensation … if you’ll pardon the pun.

Boom! Not to be outdone, The Cosmopolitan‘s newest gaming amenity is Madden NFL 12. No, seriously. The new EA Sports Bar ought to enable the Cosmo to corner the coveted grade-school and high-school casino-player demographics.
