Is it any wonder that Trump International and other Donald Trump-branded hotels are struggling when they wait until the day before Thanksgiving to blast this offer to their customer base? Wouldn’t you think people had made their Black Friday and other holiday plans by this point? I’m looking forward to Trump rolling out a special Christmas discount on Dec. 24.

Does anyone really think the Trump brand means anything anymore? He’s beyond joke status with a tinge of racism. Is there any relation between nutso Trump and his “brand” anyway?
Trump is still nominally associated with the casinos in Atlantic City that bear his unfortunate name. He and Ivanka each hold 5% of the stock in return for the use of their names and likenesses to promote Trump Entertainment Resorts. Judging by the dismal performance of Trump Marina (now doing better as the Golden Nugget) and the continuing agony of Trump Plaza, it was wasted money.

Trump Entertainment was originally supposed to operate this casino. It is pretty obvious why they will not be anymore.
