It appears that Harrah’s Entertainment‘s big buffet offer, encompassing seven Strip properties, isn’t quite as good as it sounded to us at LVA at first blush. A fellow staffer writes: “I have a feeling that the Harrah’s buffets are keeping same hours, not going 24/7, although you’d never know it from their Tweets. I have some shouts out to verify, but I think the ’24 hr’ pass they’re referring to is an ‘all-day’ pass within reg. hours.” (Which would be almost identical to a promotion that a handful of the MGM Mirage Strip casinos tried last year.)
S&G reader 8rain gets props for pointing out our oversight. Whoops.
For the record, LVA readers give the Harrah’s buffets little love. Caesars Palace and Imperial Palace get 1.5 stars apiece, the Flamingo two, The Rio three, while Planet Hollywood rates a 3.5 and surprise winner Harrah’s LV a four.

Is that all day offer good for the day of purchase only or does the offer extend for 24 hours from time of purchase?? I called
Paris and could not get a clear answer. Knowing Harrahs,
Cinderella’s ride turns into a pumpkin each day at midnight.
Here’s the latest from @LVA-Tweet: “Buffets are open regular hours. Buffet of Buffets Pass gives unlimited access to 7 buffets, for 24 hours from time of purchase … It’s good for unlimited visits to all seven for a full 24 hours, so you could even sneak in a 4th meal if you plan it right.”
Man, I only wish that I were wrong about that. Thanks for the shout-out, but totally unnecessary. Been a long-time reader, and just happy I could contribute a little nugget to the cause. Keep up the good work!
Does it include the Rio’s Seafood Buffet?
I assume that Jamie Oliver does not approve.
Most of the MGM offers were for the same day weren’t they, this is a nice way to not have to gorge yourself do two meals one day and then an early breakfast the next. Plus while they maybe not be top of the line. Flavors at Harrahs, Spice Market, and Paris, are all solid values especially for a $10 meal.
Sadly, The Rio’s seafood buffet is not included.
By saying “unlimited access” I am guessing that this means I can come and go several times for each meal. For example: several visits to a breakfast buffet for coffee and toast one visit, and then maybe a heavier meal an hour later. Regards, Hal
