It’s a crazy day here and I’m deeply enmeshed in reportage (hint: it involves Station Casinos) so I’d like to take up some of the blogging slack by once more pimping the S&G Twitter feed (@stiffsgeorges), which can also be read on the right-hand side of this page. However, if you just read it here, you miss the retweets, which contain some of the best stories out there.
While I’ll confess to have been a Twitter skeptic, 1,055 tweets later I find that this handy-dandy form of microblogging is a marvelous way of breaking or at least flagging stories, especially those that wouldn’t rate more than an S&G sentence or two, plus a link. This enables Yr. Humble Blogger to forward pertinent news without feeling it incumbent upon himself to delivery some punditry thereupon … and believe you me, there are days when I vociferously think, “God, I’m tired of hearing my own voice,” even if it’s just words on a computer screen.
